Marcie Richardson, R.S.S.W. owner and founder of Empower Counselling.
Marcie has dedicated her life to helping others with a unique and genuine approach to counselling services based on empathy, compassion, and a willingness to listen. With over twenty years in the field, Marcie started her career working for a crisis line at a local rape crisis centre. From there, she began assisting individuals fleeing domestic violence or struggling with immigration and homelessness issues navigate a fragmented system. After completing extensive training and facilitating numerous Dialectical and Cognitive Behavioural groups, Marcie decided to shift her focus to offer long-term counselling services. |
